游戏在前作的基础上进行了大幅改进, 部分系统和角色动作都进行了重制, 此外该作的剧本已经完成, 剧情将与系列前作英雄传说: 碧之轨迹有直接碰撞, 帝国内乱仍在持续, 主角一行将被卷入各大势力的冲突之中
